Years before the pandemic started, I had a huge beard. Soon after the pandemic started, I realized that it was so thick that it negated the protection of wearing masks, so I shaved it off, and still haven't grown it back... yet. I say this to illustrate that I am no stranger to beard oil, one of the fundamental tools of keeping any beard and the skin below healthy and moisturized.
One of the things I've always disliked about beard oil is the package design. There's often a reference to Vikings or lumberjacks and an attempt to appeal to your sense of masculinity in a way that feels condescending and outdated. When I look at my wife's enormous collection of toners, serums and moisturizers, much of the package design is simple, tasteful, and elegant. Why isn't beard oil the same?
That is the concept behind the design for alchemy™ Beard Elixir: you're just a guy with a beard and want to moisturize it and keep it healthy with all-natural ingredients.
I named it alchemy™ because I'm interested in spooky things, and alchemy is a spooky thing that paved the way to modern chemistry, so it made perfect sense. I even added an alchemical symbol on the bottom of each elixir to be discovered, and hopefully researched by the user. Happy hydrating!
