Website design for Rowe Plastic Surgery displayed on a laptop — editorial layout with bold typography and a portrait of a model

Observation:

The original (and last I checked, current) site design was working against itself. Text sat directly over imagery focal points, the lack of text hierarchy pulled the eye in too many directions at once, and the UI asked users to work harder than they should have to, like hovering over an image to reveal a menu. For a high-traffic medical practice, that user friction has a cost — and it shows up as lower conversion rates, and higher site abandonment.

Approach & Result:

The redesign kept everything that was already theirs — the brand, the colors, the identity — and just gave it room to breathe. clearer hierarchy, cleaner focal points and fewer unnecessary graphics competing for attention. This redesign never went live due to budget and timeline constraints, but the billboards did. They drove traffic to the new location quickly and the client was genuinely pleased with the outcome.
